FIFA 20 Global Series championship is in full swing. The tournament features different types of events that allow participants to earn points. Let's take a look at the events that are coming in the future.
The FUT Champion Cups are the main events of the Global Series. Out of six Cups, three were already played. The fourth Cup, or Stage IV, will be played in Paris, France on February 21st-23rd. Stage V is scheduled for April 3rd-5th in Bucharest, Romania. Stage VI or the last Cup will take place on May 15th-17th. The location for the last Cup has yet to be announced. Each Cup invites 64 players (32 on each platform) to battle for points and money. The winner gets 2,000 points. The runner-up gets 1,400 points. The third place gets 800 points. The remaining players are divided into three groups and they get 500, 300, and 150 respectively.
Points allow players to qualify for the final events. The cash prizes are also compelling. The Cup winner walks away with $50,000. The runner-up gets $30,000. The prize for the third and fourth place is $15,000. The remaining players are divided into four groups and they get $7,500, $3,500, $1,000, and $500 respectively.
Two FIFA Major tournaments are also part of the Global Series. We have the FIFA eWorld Cup Milan on February 7th-8th. The second major is FIFA eNations Cup and it takes place in May between 22nd and 24th. We don't have information about the second Major's location. The point allocation for the Majors is the same as for the Cups. eChampions League is a PlayStation 4 exclusive tournament. It has three stages. The first one is the qualification stage that welcomes all FUT Champions Verified players. This stage will take place on the weekend of March 13th. Those who qualify make it to the group stages that are held on the weekend of April 24th. Eight players will battle in the final on May 29th. The first place gets 850 points and a generous prize of $100,000. The runner-up gets 450 points and $60,000. The third and fourth places get 315 points and $30,000. The last four players get $15,000. The PlayStation Playoffs are scheduled for June 19th-21st. The Xbox Playoffs will take place on June 26th-28th.
